Set Parental control on how other users can use your PC.
Today as internet use is increasing day by day so it is important to keep children away from irrelevant contents.Child lock or Parental control is necessary as social media,gaming and other online activities become more prevalent.
Microsoft windows gives inbuilt parental control facility in Windows OS.It is available as Family Safety in 7 and 8.In windows 8 there are many robust feature for parental control
Windows has Family safety feature to keep kids safe while using an Internet connected computer.It allows parents to see and control what their kids are doing on a PC.
Family Safety can send activity reports via e-mail,set Web filtering levels,monitor and restrict apps from windows app store and set time limits which is I think best feature of family safety.
To enable family safety monitoring you need to open User Accounts and Family Safety
in control panel.Following menu will be opened when you click it.Select Set up Family Safety for any user.
Or you can select turn on family safety to get reports of their PC use checkbox to turn on Family Safety for new user in add user wizard.
When you log in to Windows 8 with Microsoft account,it will automatically configure family safety for remote management at the Family Safety Web Site.
After creating any account with family safety turned on,You can configure various options in family safety menu.You can select the user for which you need to set control restriction and following menu will be opened.
Now you can configure all the restrictions from here.
Turning Web filtering on will also enable strict mode for SafeSearch, which filters out adult content from search engines like Google, Bing, and Yahoo.Adult contents are also blocked.
It also allow you to block some specific websites or allow some specific websites.
OR
You can configure all the setting from Family Safety Web Site.
You can view activity reports From Family Safety Web Site or from that Windows 8 PC or vi a weekly e-mail.You can select any mode from Activity Reporting option.
It is all about Family Safety.If you want to monitor your child who uses more than one PC than setup Microsoft account for them.

My View:
- I am computer game addicted person so I use this feature as it helps me when I have lots of other things to do.It restricts me from using my computer hours and hours and from playing game also.
- So it is also useful in this manner I mean not only for children...☺☺☺☺

It allows ypu to set a time allowance and a curfew.Time allowance allows you to set the ammount of time the user is allowed to use PC per day.You can set up common time for all days or you can set limit for each days.Windows Store and game restrictions
It allows you to control which apps and games the user can use,based on Entertainment Software Rating Board ratings.App restriction
It allows you to control which apps and program on the pc can be used by user.OR
